Labor will boost Australian manufacturing, jobs and skills
Australia must be a country that makes the things we need.
An Albanese Labor Government will create secure, well-paid jobs for Australian workers through our National Reconstruction Fund.
Local jobs and businesses should be supported by the Federal Government, not ignored in favour of jobs overseas.
Labor will:
- Invest in local manufacturing, diversify our economy and make Australia self-reliant;
- Modernise Australia’s electricity grid to deliver cheap renewable energy and create new jobs;
- Give apprentices and trainees a foot in the door on major government projects.
